Day 2 - Aug 17: Transfer Yellowknife to Arctic Watch, NU

**As there is no breakfast available at this hour, I'm going to try and queue up some Tim Horton's for us and have it delivered to the hotel.**

Upon our arrival at ARCTIC WATCH, we will cross the Cunningham River to the lodge by Raft. Meeting in the Lodge Great Room for introductions, explanations, tea, coffee, cookies.
Following intorductions, we will embark on one of the following two afternoon excursions:
a) Hike to Three Waterfalls
b) ATV to Polar Bear Point, Thule sites, look for polar bears
Return to Arctic Watch for 6 pm. Dinner followed by a lecture on North Pole by Richard Weber.

Day 3 - Aug 18: Raft Day or Unimog to Gull Canyon
The group will be divided in half, and Group 1 will have a rafting day, and Group 2 will walk or unimog to Gull Canyon.Group 1: Raft Day: Unimog drive to Sunday Lake, 5km walk through the badlands (snow geese, muskox, 8000 year old whales bones) (anyone not capable of walking can be driven) picnic lunch beside the river, raft (float trip) back down the Cunningham River through the canyon to Arctic Watch.
Group 2: Unimog/walk to Gull Canyon (amazing gull rookery)

Continue on to Muskox Ridge, look for muskox.

The group will rotate and do the other activity today. We will be met by the Canoe North Adventure staff and transferred to their Lodge & Outfitting Centre. We will get fitted for paddles and PFD’s and switch our personal gear into waterproof packs etc. We will pack and enjoy “Happy Hour”. We will be treated to a great BBQ dinner and will spend the night in the Canoe North Adventure Lodge.

Day 6 - Aug 21: Canoe Déline to Porcupine River Camp
Our Canoe Adventure begins! Everyone should be dressed, fed and ready to go by 6:30am. We will get transfered to our planes.

Upon arrival into Déline we will meet our canoes and guide staff who will be ready to go at the beach...our canoe expedition will begin straight away!
Over the next few days we will travel a total distance of 85miles with no portages. This will be novice level canoeing.
We will begin by canoeing over to the mouth of the Great Bear River. We will paddle down to Porcupine River camp where some of the best grayling fishing will delight campers with an added opportunity to hike or paddle up the river.

Day 7 - Aug 22: Canoe Porcupine River Camp to Mount St. Charles
We will paddle to Mount St. Charles. We will set up camp below this small but stunning mountain. Time to learn more about the river and its history.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 8 - Aug 23: Canoe Mount St. Charles to Brackett River
We will paddle to Brackett River and our last camp. Good fishing and hiking up the river.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 9 - Aug 24: Canoe Brackett River to Tulita
We will paddle to Tulita. Once we arrive, we will have a quick tour of town by foot and lunch at the town pavilion. Say our Goodbyes.SUMMIT AIR
